This series of 5 pieces is composed for no more than 24 chairs to be performed in a percussive way. For example performers will be asked to play the chair by pushing or pulling the chair in front of them, and also by tapping the different chair legs on the floor.
This is a vocal project for Twenty separate vocalists. The piece is based on a mode and works with gradual shifts between the tones in the mode. A visual element is included in the movement of the performers around the stage in a flowing motion to create a sense of connection between the vocalists.
